ikono was established to give a wider audience access to art and finding new ways of displaying it. Using TV and the internet is giving us the opportunity to reach people who may not be the usual museum-visitors or art-lovers. We produce short films about art works, collections and temporary exhibitions not only for our own HDTV ART Channels (ikonoTV in Germany via Entertain, Telekom and ikonoMenasa in North Africa and the Middle East via ArabSat) but also for museums, galleries, art institutions for their own presentations and distributions.
